Job Purpose
I am a friendly gentleman with Parkinson's who is seeking a Personal Assistant to support me with everyday living tasks such as personal care, domestic care, meal preparation, transfers and assisting me to access the community.
Due to my Parkinson's I am prone to falls, when this happens I require someone who can help guide me up by explaining each step that I need to take. I also require someone to ensure that my medication is taken at the right time of day and to keep a diary of the daily tasks that have been completed.

Details
This Position is for either one or two personal assistants, depending on candidates availability. The advert will be updated accordingly.
General household cleaning
Food preparation: cook evening meal, prepare light lunch
Personal care
To assist with dressing
To assist with transfers
Support to access the community
Ensure medication is taken at the right time
Keep a diary of tasks completed daily

Summary Terms And Conditions
The rate of pay for this position is £13.46 per hour
Mileage: 45p per mile
Access to free Care Skills training for employed workers
If the role includes any of the following: manual Handling, handling of hazardous chemicals or food handling, you will be required to undertake annual training
Hours and days of work: 24hours over 3 days, plus every other weekend at 10 hours. Total hours available 34 hours. Hours can be flexible/negotiable.
Other duties will be discussed if/when deemed appropriate but everything that will be expected will be explained prior to acceptance of the position.
The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.
The post is subject to the following:
A satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer
Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer
Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months
