Operations Executive

The Operation and Onboarding team provide crucial support to new financial advisers joining Sandringham Financial Partners and the M&G Wealth Advice Academy. This multi-disciplined, cross-skilled role will work across the core onboarding functions assisting with the process owners to smoothly onboard advisers and their clients into the company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assisting the Onboarding Manager with processing of new adviser applications for the M&G Wealth Advice Academy and Sandringham Financial Partners Ltd
2. Collating and scanning all received application paperwork
3. Requesting character and regulatory references for new advisers
4. Second checking received applications
5. Assisting the Agencies Co-ordinator with creation of new agencies with financial product providers, Agency and fee related queries
6. Coordinating with product providers and Sandringham Directors to complete new terms of business
7. Collating and tracking new agency requests
8. Creation of necessary system logins to allow new adviser to carry out new business
9. Assisting the Transfer Co-Ordinator to transfer client data and client fees to Sandringham
10. Creation of client transfer paperwork using mail merge functionality
11. Collating, scanning and processing returned client paperwork.
12. Sending client paperwork to product providers and tracking and following up unprocessed items
13. Keeping all communication saved and tracked
14. Regularly updating new advisers on progress
15. Other ad hoc duties that arise on a week-by-week basis

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

16. A quick learner with a proven record of taking onboard new processes and detailed information
17. Experience in administration and a busy office environment
18. A diligent and proactive approach to work and an eye for detail
19. Experience in Financial Services (preferable but not essential)
20. Able to work in a team and independently to meet goals
21. Confident in using your own initiative as well as work from the instruction of others
22. The ability to be flexible in responding to the needs of the business
23. Proficient in IT
24. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Word and Excel
25. Confident on the phone and face to face
26. Strong communicator across various media and levels of seniority within the business
27. Proactive, honest and self-disciplined
