A well-established SEN school seeks a passionate, dedicated and attentive Support Assistant. You will work alongside a class teacher and a team of experienced support staff to assist with the general day-to-day running of the classrooms. The role involves building a quick rapport with the students to support their educational, social and emotional development. The position is full-time and can be ongoing for the right candidate.

About you
To be considered for the Support Assistant role, you will:
* Have previous experience working with children and young people with a range of special educational needs, such as learning difficulties, autism and looked after children.
* Possess suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (desirable but not essential).
* Have strong communication skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students.
* Be able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
