What You’ll Do:
* Be the right hand to the Director of HR Governance, leading the charge on frameworks, policies, and compliance.
* Partner with HR leaders and Risk teams to manage controls, audits, and regulatory deliverables.
* Own the HR vendor governance program and onboarding due diligence.
* Keep us ahead of the curve on employment law, risk trends, and best practices.
* Champion a risk-aware culture and deliver engaging governance training across HR.
* Roll up your sleeves - this role blends strategic influence with hands-on execution.
* Build strong partnerships with the HR team and other business area team members to align HR governance with overall business strategies.
* Support the onboarding of new HR team members to ensure there is an understanding of HR governance and risk culture
What You Bring:
* Proven experience in HR Governance, Risk, or 1LOD in a regulated industry.
* Deep knowledge of HR policies, employment law, and compliance frameworks.
* Sharp analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
* Proven expertise in a Financial Services environment with proven tenure across your profile.
* Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels.
* High integrity, attention to detail, and a proactive, curious mindset.
* Comfortable juggling strategic projects and admin tasks alike.
