A Second Line of Defence Senior Operational Risk Analyst position, reporting into the Operational Risk & Resilience Manager at FCE.
The minimum requirements we seek:
1. Minimum of 5 years’ demonstrable experience working in a UK Bank in a second line operational risk role.
2. Exposure to operational risk types including conduct, compliance, cyber, IT,.
3. Proven experience in managing risk within an FCA or PRA regulatory environment.
4. Demonstrated experience with risk assessment methodologies, including Risk Maps, Thematic Reviews and Opinion Papers.
5. Significant expertise in implementing three lines of defence frameworks.
6. Experience of developing and providing operational risk management training to the First Line of Defence, at all levels.
7. Experience of risk management systems. Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) System.
8. Experience of completing Second Line controls testing.
9. Bachelor's degree is required, in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field is desirable. A Master's degree or professional certifications (., Certified Risk Manager, Certified Business Continuity Professional) would be advantageous.

10. Resilient and adaptable, able to handle high-pressure situations and provide advice within short timescales.
11. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
12. Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, including to Senior Management and Non-Exec Director Level.

This position is based in Dunton, and it is expected the successful candidate will be able to attend the Dunton office for typically 4 days a week and remain flexible on the days they are required to attend the office according to business requirements.
