Building Surveyor (Newly qualified or late APC)
Location: SE1, London
Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum
About the opportunity:
At Carriera, we’re working with a forward-thinking building consultancy based in SE1, that’s looking to strengthen their London team. They advise major clients across the mid to high end residential sector.
This role offers you the chance to join a growing consultancy that will support your development and give you real responsibility from day one.
What does your work look like?:
* Delivering dilapidations projects, acting for both landlords and tenants.
* Running contract administration instructions, monitoring works and ensuring compliance.
* Undertaking detailed condition surveys and advising on building defects.
* Supporting colleagues on technical due diligence, lease advice and other general surveying matters.
You’ll be given client exposure, autonomy and the opportunity to develop into a trusted advisor within a close-knit team.
Who you will need:
* Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) with circa 1 year PQE, or on the final stretch towards APC.
* Strong technical grounding in dilapidations, contract admin and condition surveys.
* Clear, concise reporting skills.
* Residential focussed experience and confident engaging with clients.
* Proactive and ambitous to develop within a growing consultancy.
