The Role
We are looking for an experienced Store Manager to own the store’s performance in relation to profitability and overall customer satisfaction. The Store Manager will lead, coach and inspire a team of consultants and an Assistant Manager to deliver outstanding customer service, maintain operational procedures, and drive commercial success.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Lead and motivate the store team to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
* Analyse and interpret data to facilitate planning and future forecasting for sales.
* Review store performance and implement action plans, liaising with Area Manager or Regional Director where appropriate.
* Develop plans and local initiatives to improve store performance and contribution to the overall company results.
* Actively promote the company and the store in the local shopping centre.
* Lead by example in ensuring compliance with all company procedures.
* Manage stock inventory and establish efficient operating standards to keep costs within budget while minimising shrinkage.
* Prepare and issue store rotas at least 4 weeks in advance, keeping within budget.
* Implement legislation regarding security and Health and Safety.
* Maintain discipline, recruitment, training and performance review processes.
* Resolve complex customer queries.
* Train, coach and empower a team of consultants to provide excellent customer service.
* Study relevant training materials and attend training sessions as required.
* Share product expertise and ensure high product knowledge standards.
* Ensure the Assistant Store Manager is fully trained and competent.
* Display products following visual merchandising guidelines and ensure correct coding and pricing.
* Maintain commerciality and stock levels to support store profitability.
* Communicate effectively with Area Manager and/or Head Office and cascade information to the store.
* Carry out any reasonable tasks as requested by Area Manager or Regional Director.
* Ensure all tasks are carried out in a timely, efficient and cost‑effective manner.
What You’ll Bring
* Minimum 2 years experience in a store management role.
* GCSE level education or equivalent business‑related qualification.
* Ability to work with store KPIs and targets.
* Visual merchandising and commercial awareness to impact business knowledge.
* Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
* Strong communication skills, customer‑service focus and a can‑do attitude.
