Based in a prime central York location, this is a fantastic opportunity for a private client lawyer seeking quality work, flexibility and a supportive team environment in one of Yorkshire’s most desirable cities. My client are looking for an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive (4+ PQE) to join a well-established and highly regarded firm in the heart of York. With a strong reputation and loyal client base, the firm offers the chance to handle high-quality private client work within a friendly, collaborative team and with excellent work–life balance. The Role You will manage your own varied private client caseload, advising individuals and families on a broad range of matters including:
* Wills, LPAs and estate administration
* Trusts and inheritance tax planning
* Advising on complex and high-value estates
* Drafting key legal documents and managing files from instruction to completion
* Building strong client relationships and contributing to the continued growth of the department
The role offers significant autonomy, while still providing support from an experienced Head of Department and senior team. About You
* Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 4+ years’ PQE
* Strong experience across wills, probate, trusts and estate planning
* Comfortable managing your own caseload independently
* Excellent client care and communication skills
* An interest in business development and long-term career growth
Experience in property law would be advantageous but is not essential. Benefits
