Overview
The Governing Board of Newhey Community Primary School are seeking to appoint a temporary KS1 Class Teacher to our happy, caring and successful school. The appointment is to cover a maternity leave commencing 1st January 2025 with the end date dependant on the return date of the permanent postholder. NQT’s are eligible to apply.
Responsibilities
* Teach a Year 1/2 class as KS1 Class Teacher.
* Work in a school that supports a whole-life commitment to the school ethos; opportunities for own professional development will be encouraged.
* Visits to the school are welcome by appointment.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Motivated, caring and creative practitioner with a commitment to the school ethos.
* NQT’s are eligible to apply.
* Post requires the ability to converse at ease with customers and service users and to provide advice in accurate spoken English.
* Appointment to this post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check and background check.
* Right to Work in the UK must be demonstrable if invited to interview; applicants must not be subject to immigration controls or restrictions that prohibit work in the UK.
* The school will carry out an online search as part of due diligence for shortlisted candidates in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2024.
* This is a temporary contract to cover maternity leave; the end date is dependent on the return date of the permanent postholder.
