Butler/Houseman Job
A warm, discreet, and well-organised Houseman/Butler is sought by a friendly family of three based in West London. This is a desirable and relaxed role, perfect for someone who enjoys structure and appreciates having regular downtime, as you are not required to work during all school holidays, when the family travels.
The family is respectful, tidy, and low-maintenance. You’ll be working alongside an established housekeeper and gardener, so your role will be to fill in the gaps, assist with household operations, and ensure things run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Casual but professional serving of drinks and meals
2. Light cooking (e.g. burgers, steak and chips, salads)
3. Driving duties, including running errands and occasional pickups
4. Restocking fridges, pantries, and cupboards
5. Online shopping and inventory management
6. Acting as a general point of support around the home
Ideal Candidate:
7. Experienced in a similar private household role
8. Confident driver with a clean UK driving licence
9. Proactive, trustworthy, and discreet
10. Flexible and hands-on attitude
11. Well-presented with good communication skills
12. Right to work in the UK
Start date - November but can start earlier for the right person.
