Finance Manager – East Cheshire | Hybrid after probation | Axon Moore is partnering with a high-growth manufacturing business to recruit a Finance Manager for a privately owned company with ambitious growth plans and an international customer base. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller and leading a small team of two assistants, the Finance Manager will drive financial strategy, manage reporting, support budgeting, and ensure compliance, while working closely with operational teams to inform commercial decisions. Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports Develop budgets, monitor expenditures, and perform variance analysis Conduct financial analysis and modelling to support business decisions Manage accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems Ensure regulatory compliance, including tax filings and audits Supervise and mentor Assistant Management Accountants Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions Recommend improvements to financial systems, processes, and policies Support year-end audit and liaise with auditors Analyse gross margins and support cost control initiatives Key Skills & Qualifications: Fully qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems Knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and manufacturing operations Ability to wo...
