We are looking for a Design Technician to join our growing design team at Network Plus. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional with a passion for engineering design to gain hands-on experience within the utilities and infrastructure sector.
You will play a key role in supporting the design process, from site surveys through to the production of detailed drawings, while developing your technical expertise and working closely with experienced engineers and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake regular site visits and surveys to gather data for detailed designs and as-laid drawings.
* Produce accurate as-laid drawings using AutoCAD, in line with client asset standards and procedures.
* Liaise with internal teams to ensure drawings are delivered to meet agreed KPIs.
* Represent Network Plus at client walk-off meetings.
* Create detailed technical drawings, plans, and general arrangements to support project delivery.
* Prepare private land notice plans in line with client specifications.
* Provide weekly progress updates to the Design/Commercial Manager.
* Support the design team with administrative and technical tasks as required.
