Job Summary
We are seeking a the right candidate to join our team, responsible for executing various landscape maintenance tasks with precision and care. The ideal candidate will possess a mechanical knowledge and experience with hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators. This role is essential for maintaining the aesthetic and functional aspects of our projects, ensuring that all cutting and trimming tasks are completed to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
* Operate and maintain various cutting tools and equipment, including hand tools and power tools, to perform landscape maintenance tasks effectively.
* Execute precise cutting of plants, shrubs, and other materials as per project specifications.
* Assist in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for gardens and landscapes.
* Collaborate with team members on construction projects, providing support in gardening and horticulture activities.
* Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment to ensure functionality and safety standards are met.
* Follow health and safety regulations while performing all tasks to maintain a safe working environment.
Experience
* Proven experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using various tools and machinery, including excavators.
* Familiarity with horticulture practices, gardening techniques, and construction processes is advantageous.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.

Pay: £12.21-£16.00 per hour
