We are seeking an experienced Retail Estate Manager to lead our EMEA retail real estate function, shaping the growth of our store network and managing a high-performing team.
Role Overview
As the Retail Estate Manager, you will oversee all aspects of retail real estate across EMEA, including site selection, lease negotiations, portfolio management, and strategic expansion planning. You will manage and mentor a team, ensuring operational excellence while delivering the retail vision and driving revenue growth through optimal store presence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team responsible for retail real estate across EMEA, fostering collaboration, high performance, and professional development.
Develop and execute a strategic retail estate roadmap, including flagship, inline, factory outlet, and 3rd party retail locations.
Oversee transaction management, site selection, lease negotiations, and internal approval processes.
Leverage market insights, demographic data, and consumer demand patterns to prioritize expansion opportunities.
Drive operational efficiencies through lease management tools, portfolio tracking, and business case development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Retail Ops, Store Design, IT, and Merchandising.
Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, brokers, legal teams, and other external partners.
Requirements
Extensive experience in Retail Real Estate, Commercial Brokerage, or a similar role within a retail environment.
Proven managerial experience, leading teams to deliver strategic objectives in a fast-paced environment.
Deep understanding of lease management, negotiations, and real estate financial concepts.
Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of leading cross-functional collaboration.
Based in Amsterdam or surrounding area, with frequent travel across EMEA.
Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
