They are currently looking to strengthen their finance team with the appointment of a part-time Credit Controller. The role will involve;Working 30hrs per week with flexibility regarding working hoursMonitor customer accounts to ensure compliance with agreed credit termsPosting of all incoming receipts ensuring all payments posted as per remittanceProactively chase overdue payments via email, phone or written communicationAssess and approve new credit applications based on company policiesReview customer credit limits to minimise financial risksPrepare and distribute regular aged debt reports for management.Investigate and resolve invoice queries or disputes in a timely manner.Ensure all disputes are logged and tracked to closure.
Experience / Skills required for the Credit Controller rolePrevious experience of working as a Credit Controller essential with a strong understanding of credit control processes.Good numerical and IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial software.Ability to work independently and as part of a team and collaborate effectively with colleagues across different departments.Self-motivated with the ability to use initiative to ensure tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
