Role Overview
The position of Therapeutic Radiographer Team Leader at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, requires an HCPC registered Therapeutic Radiographer with expert knowledge and advanced skills in modern radiotherapy techniques and specialist technologies. The successful candidate will be adaptable, confident with change, and dedicated to delivering outstanding patient care.
Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate the radiotherapy team day‑to‑day within pre‑treatment, ensuring safe and efficient care by allocating staff and resources as required.
* Rotate through the pre‑treatment section (Planning, CT scanner, Data entry and mould room) and maintain high standards of patient care.
* Manage complex and stressful situations with calm efficiency and professionalism.
* Support the delivery of modern radiotherapy services to the Tayside and North East Fife population, including specialist treatments such as brachytherapy and SABR.
Qualifications
* HCPC Registered
* Expert knowledge and skills in contemporary radiotherapy techniques and specialist technology application.
* High technical proficiency and proven experience delivering holistic, high‑quality care to patients, families and carers.
* Demonstrated adaptability, confidence, and leadership drive in evolving clinical environments.
Hours and Location
Hours: 36 hours per week (part‑time hours considered). Location: Ninewells Hospital, Dundee.
