Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal to join a busy and dedicated Criminal Law team based at a city-centre office in Leeds. The role involves managing a caseload under supervision, liaising with clients and courts, preparing case files, and assisting with administration and billing.
Ideal Candidate:
* 1+ years’ experience in a similar Criminal Paralegal role
* Strong client care and communication skills
* Accurate, organised, and able to work under pressure
* Proactive, flexible, and a team player
Key Responsibilities
* Provide direct support to fee earners and legal team members.
* Manage client matters and prepare files in accordance with office procedures.
* Liaise with clients, courts, and other parties as required.
* Obtain and prepare documentation for cases.
* Handle billing and ensure payments are processed from clients or legal funding bodies.
