Receptionist
Rolling contract – likely 2-3 months – up to £14 per hour PAYE
Moorgate, London based
40 hours per week – Monday-Friday – 8am-5pm
Key Responsibilities
* Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner
* Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls promptly
* Manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and couriers
* Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable reception area
* Schedule appointments and manage meeting room bookings
* Provide basic information to visitors and callers about the organization
* Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation
* Support other departments with ad hoc administrative duties
* Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary
* Ensure security procedures are followed by monitoring visitor access
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Proven experience in a receptionist, front desk, or customer service role
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
* Professional appearance and attitude
* Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
