Job Description:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessonsin line with the KS1 National Curriculum, with a focus on literacy, numeracy, and topic-based learning
* Support pupils’ academic and emotional developmentthrough creative, differentiated, and inclusive teaching strategies
* Create a positive and structured classroom environmentthat encourages curiosity, independence, and resilience
* Use formative and summative assessmentto track progress and inform next steps in learning
* Work closely with teaching assistants, parents, and colleaguesto ensure every child reaches their full potential
* Contribute to the wider school communitythrough assemblies, events, and enrichment activities
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 2
* Be areflective and adaptable practitionerwith strong behaviour management and planning skills
* Demonstrate a commitment toinclusive education,safeguarding, andchild-centred learning
* Possessexcellent communication,organisational, andinterpersonal skills
* Be passionate aboutearly years pedagogy,team collaboration, andcontinuous professional development
