PHP Developer – Hybrid (2 Days On-Site in Preston)
Salary: up to £40,000 DOE

Are you a passionate PHP Developer looking to join a collaborative team and work on exciting, high-impact projects? We’re seeking a skilled developer to join our client’s growing team in Preston.
About the Role:
As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining dynamic web applications and APIs. You’ll collaborate closely with the product, design, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions that enhance user experience and support our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain scalable PHP applications using modern frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony).
* Build and optimise RESTful APIs for seamless integrations.
* Collaborate with front-end developers to implement user-facing features.
* Participate in code reviews, ensuring clean, secure, and well-documented code.
* Troubleshoot and debug issues to maintain high application performance.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience as a PHP Developer (3+ years preferred).
* Strong knowledge of PHP 7/8 and MySQL.
* Experience with MVC frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, or similar).
* Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
* Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Bonus Skills:
* Experience with cloud hosting (AWS, Azure) or Docker.
* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
