Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Housekeeper to lead our cleaning team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation within our Inn. The successful candidate will oversee daily housekeeping operations, manage staff, and maintain exceptional service quality to enhance guest satisfaction. Previous experience in hospitality environments, particularly in hotel/Inn housekeeping, is highly essential. Duties
* Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team to ensure efficient operations.
* Develop and implement cleaning schedules and standards in accordance with hotel policies.
* Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
* Train, motivate, and support housekeeping staff to deliver consistent service excellence.
* Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring cost-effective utilisation.
* Address guest requests or complaints promptly, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
* Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning activities around hotel operations.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in hotel housekeeping roles, with previous leadership experience preferred.
* Strong understanding of hospitality standards and guest service expectations.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Leadership qualities including motivation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and best practices in hygiene standards.
* Previous experience in hospitality environments is essential.
