1 week rotation on shifts
Dayshift 07:00 - 15:00 (Mon-Fri)
Backshift 15:00 - 23:00 (Mon-Thu) 15:00 - 22:00 (Fri)
Nightshift 23:00 – 07:00 (Mon-Thur)
Key Responsibilities
1. Set up and operate 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines
2. Interpret Engineering drawings, process sheets, blueprints, and sketches of part to determine machining to be done, dimensional specifications, set up, and operating requirements
3. Interpret work instructions.
4. Monitor machining processes and make adjustments to maintain tolerances
5. Identify, select and set up tooling for operations being performed.
6. Operate multiple machine tools and operations.
7. Understand applicable quality systems and perform necessary quality inspections.
8. Visually inspects final components.
9. Uses precision measuring instruments & gauging devices and performs various quality inspection type procedures to include dimensional verification.
10. Assumes responsibility for quality and functionality.
11. Adhere to all policies and procedures.
12. Maintain a team focused work environment.
13. Responsible for general housekeeping and cleanliness of working area.
14. Ability to work rotating Day/Back/Night shifts.
15. Seek out and identify Continuous Improvement opportunities.
16. Apply principles of Lean Manufacturing to reduced setup times and improve productivity.
Job Requirements
17. Proven experience operating 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines.
18. Strong understanding of G-code and CNC controls (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens, or Heidenhain).

Minimum Qualifications
26. Be time served in a machining discipline
27. Previous experience in similar industry is preferable (Aerospace)
28. Proven experience operating 3-axis and 5-axis CNC Milling machines with various controls including Fanuc, Mazatrol & Heidenheim
29. Must be self-motivated and possess facilitation skills to be used in a team setting
30. Prior experience with precision inspection equipment
31. Proven ability to hold tight machining tolerances
