Job Description
We’re looking for a dynamic Special Projects Lead to spearhead high-impact projects that deliver innovation, operational efficiency, and growth across our product portfolio and business functions. This is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of Rotork’s Growth+ Strategy, partnering with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to make a tangible difference.
What you’ll do
* Act as a trusted adviser to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
* Lead complex, cross-functional projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
* Partner with the Head of Business Development on product portfolio fit assessments for acquisition targets and manage integration activities for M&A projects.
* Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with senior stakeholders.
* Facilitate collaboration between engineering, product management, operations, and commercial teams to ensure seamless execution of business activities and Go-to-Market strategies.
* Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations, managing risks and dependencies proactively.
* Monitor project performance against KPIs, providing regular updates and actionable recommendations to leadership.
* Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and embedding best practices into future projects.
What we’re looking for
* Proven experience in leading strategic, cross-functional projects within a complex organisation.
* Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior leadership level.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.
* Experience in M&A activities and product portfolio integration is highly desirable.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Technical knowledge:
* Degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline.
* Strong understanding of project and change management methodologies and tools.
* Familiarity with Rotork’s markets (flow control, automation) and regulatory landscape is advantageous.
* Knowledge of risk management, financial planning, and stakeholder engagement principles.
