We are seeking a Senior Clinical Pharmacist to join our night services within the Pharmacy team, offering a competitive salary. This role operates on a Monday - Sunday schedule, covering night shifts from 20:00 to 08:00, with 3-4 shifts per week.
Patient safety is central to our pharmacy services. At Cleveland Clinic London, we utilize automation, digital infrastructure, secure storage systems, and bar-coded medicines administration to establish a closed-loop medicines administration system. Our services empower patients to participate actively in their care and shared decision-making.
Main duties of the job
* Support the development, validation, and maintenance of clinical and medicines-related guidelines and protocols.
* Supervise junior staff in delivering clinical pharmacy services and assume responsibility for specialist clinical services when necessary.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure medicines prescribed are the safest treatment options.
* Provide high-quality advice and counseling to patients to optimize medication use.
* Assist in managing complaints and take corrective actions as needed.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Masters degree in pharmacy (or equivalent).
* Postgraduate clinical diploma in hospital pharmacy or equivalent experience.
* Full registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
