Pipe Fitter / Mains Layer Stockport, Manchester £200 per day Start Date: 16/02/2026 We are recruiting for an experienced Pipe Fitter / Mains Layer for a water infrastructure project in Stockport. Requirements Blue CSCS Card (Groundworker) SSSTS City & Guilds Confined Space – Medium Risk Experience with temporary works (sheet & frames and trench boxes) Ability to work within Water Company PTW systems Experience Required Deep drainage up to 4.5–5 metres Installation of 1200mm–1350mm concrete pipes Construction of concrete manholes Working from water main drawings and job packs Installation of PE pipework Reinstatement of valves, hydrants and water network equipment Recording bolt torque and completing associated documentation This is a good opportunity for an experienced operative to secure work on a major water scheme in the Greater Manchester area.
