About the Role We’re looking for a commercially minded Network Optimisation Manager to join our Network Design team in Bolton. This role plays a key part in shaping and improving Whistl’s logistics network by turning complex data into practical, cost-effective solutions. You’ll lead optimisation projects end to end, working closely with operational and commercial teams to drive efficiency, performance, and strategic change across the network. Essential Skills Essential Skills & Experience Strong analytical capability with the ability to handle large volumes of Excel data accurately Proven experience using PowerBI and Paragon planning software Background in transport or logistics solutions Comfortable working autonomously and progressing tasks without close supervision Confident communicator able to influence at all levels of the organisation High attention to detail with the ability to draw clear conclusions from data Degree-level qualification (transport or logistics desirable) Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a related role or environment Desirable Prince II or a similar project management qualification Additional Information Full UK driving licence required Monday to Friday 37.5hrs per week. Flexibility is required in working hours to meet operational needs Willingness to travel across the UK, including occasional overnight stays Training will be provided where required
