The Role
Prestolee Multi Academy Trust are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring Family Support Worker to join our team at Barton Moss Primary School. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with children, young people and families in a supportive role, and will have a strong communication and interpersonal skills in order to build positive relationships with families from diverse backgrounds. They will be enthusiastic about being involved in all aspects of school life and will be able to build strong relationships with all stakeholders within a primary school setting. They will also hold a relevant qualification in social work, family support, or a relevant field (Level 3 or equivalent).

About You
We are looking for a person who has:
* GCSE 4/C or equivalent in English, Maths & Science
* A relevant qualification in social work, family support, or a relevant field (Level 3 or equivalent)
* Strong understanding of safeguarding practices and child protection procedures in an education setting.
* Excellent skills in team working
* Excellent skills in working with children
* Commitment, flexibility and enthusiasm
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
