Job summary Due to retirement within the Breast Cancer Nursing Team at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust we are looking to recruit a dynamic advanced specialist cancer nurse to the post of: Band 7 Breast Cancer Nurse Practitioner - 35.6 hrs per week - permanent position. This post is based in York Hospital but travel to other Trust bases will be required. The role requires a registered nurse who can work within their scope of practice and of the job description and support the team to deliver safe effective care to our patients. Furthermore, the appointee must be equipped with excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a diverse multi-disciplinary group of clinicians, patients, and allied healthcare providers. You must be self-motivated, enthusiastic, organised, computer literate and able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with a commitment to continued personal development.
