Overview
Lead Teacher of Geography. We have an exciting opportunity to join our thriving and vibrant secondary school located at the heart of the Chichester community. We are committed to delivering a high quality education to all our pupils whilst excelling in the delivery of pastoral care and providing an inspiring enrichment programme for all of our students, as recently highlighted in our 'Good' Ofsted judgement. Our students go on to maximise their potential and achieve both academic and vocational excellence in their chosen routes when they leave at the end of Year 11, many continuing at the school in our 'Outstanding' Sixth Form. This opportunity would suit someone who is able to model consistently high-quality teaching and be able to demonstrate excellent practice to others within the department. In return, we can offer a friendly and supportive school with a robust team ethos, excellent facilities and an exceptional professional development programme with great opportunities for further career development. The Lead Teacher of Geography role offers an outstanding opportunity to make a measurable impact on the success of the school. We are seeking to appoint an experienced teacher of Geography who will help to grow and develop the subject within the school teaching both KS4 and KS5 students, allowing students to reach their maximum potential and achieve success.
