About the Role
We are committed to ensuring that no child faces barriers to learning. Our Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) play a key role in helping students succeed, not only academically but as confident individuals ready for their futures.
Working under the direction of teachers and school leadership, you will deliver care and support programmes, provide in-class assistance, and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support students in accessing learning, particularly those with SEN or additional needs.
* Assist the classroom teacher with day-to-day learning activities and pupil management.
* Build positive relationships to support pupil progress and well-being.
* Encourage high expectations and model the school's values and standards.
* Promote an inclusive classroom where every student is supported to thrive.
Required Skills:
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially when working with SEN students.
* Basic understanding of child development and learning.
* GCSE Grade C / 4 or equivalent in English and Maths.
* Relevant qualifications or demonstrable experience working in a similar educational support role (desirable).
