RG Consultancy are working with a fantastic well established construction company in Middleton who are recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join their medium sized finance team. This is a very exciting opportunity for an experienced accounts assistant who is looking to grow and develop within a supportive growing environment. 25 days holiday 8 bank holidays (increasing with service) Free onsite parking Pension Electric car scheme Medical cover Life assurance Key Responsibilities Maintain and manage the sales and purchase ledgers Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner Support month-end tasks, including reconciliations and reporting Liaise with project and commercial teams to ensure accurate financial tracking Maintain organised financial records and documentation Help monitor costs and highlight discrepancies where necessary Provide general support to the Finance Department as required Skills & Experience Required Previous experience in an accounts or finance support role Experience within the construction industry would be an advantage but not essential Studying towards AAT would be an advantage but not essential Confident using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
