RG Consultancy are working with a fantastic well established construction company in Middleton who are recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join their medium sized finance team. This is a very exciting opportunity for an experienced accounts assistant who is looking to grow and develop within a supportive growing environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and manage the sales and purchase ledgers
* Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner
* Support month-end tasks, including reconciliations and reporting
* Liaise with project and commercial teams to ensure accurate financial tracking
* Maintain organised financial records and documentation
* Help monitor costs and highlight discrepancies where necessary
* Provide general support to the Finance Department as required
Skills & Experience Required
* Previous experience in an accounts or finance support role
* Experience within the construction industry would be an advantage but not essential
* Studying towards AAT would be an advantage but not essential
* Confident using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
