As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside class teachers to support pupils' learning, emotional well-being, and development. Key Responsibilities: Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons. Work with individual pupils or small groups to provide targeted support, including children with SEND. Assist with classroom management and organisation. Prepare learning materials and resources as directed by the teacher. Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents/carers. Promote good behaviour and a positive learning environment. Contribute to the assessment and recording of pupil progress. Supervise children during non-classroom activities such as break times and school trips. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A proactive, flexible, and supportive approach to working in a team. A commitment to the school's safeguarding and child protection policies. Willingness to develop professionally and potentially take on a permanent role if offered. Essential Requirements: Availability to work Monday to Friday, term-time only.
