We currently have two exciting vacancies within our Vehicle Management Services team to enable us to continue to build on our success and bring new experience, knowledge and ideas into the team.
About the Role
Based at Turnpike Depot, Eccles, you will be an enthusiastic and talented Vehicle Mechanic with the drive to keep our transport fleet on the move and work alternating shifts. This is an opportunity to enhance your skills, carrying out maintenance on our fleet of HGV, light vehicles and specialised equipment.
Must hold a current driving licence (LGV category C desirable but not essential) and be trained to NVQ level 3 and/or City & Guilds (or equivalent) for light or heavy vehicles in a vehicle maintenance/repair environment.

* Operate all associated garage equipment including vehicle diagnostic reading, brake testing, exhaust gas analysing and diesel smoke testing equipment and other equipment that may be introduced to enhance service.
* Maintain and complete daily documents including job tickets, inspection sheets, test reports and timesheets.
About you
Your style and approach will reflect our values: you are passionate, strive to improve, respect others, take pride in getting things right, learn from mistakes, take personal responsibility for resolving issues and changing how you do things to make a difference. You are a dedicated professional with a good understanding of vehicle maintenance, enjoy working as part of a team, manage multiple tasks efficiently, and have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
