We are looking for compassionate, resilient, and dedicated Support Workers to join our childrens home team supporting children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
Youll play a vital role as an RSW (Residential Support Worker) in creating a safe, nurturing, and structured environment where our young people can heal, grow, and thrive.
About The Role
As a Residential Support Worker (RSW), you will:
* Provide day-to-day care, support and guidance to children and young people aged 818
* Promote emotional well-being and help manage challenging behaviours using trauma-informed approaches
* Encourage positive routines, independence, and life skills
* Support educational, recreational, and therapeutic activities
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning
* Work closely with a multidisciplinary team and external agencies
About You
* Experience working with children or young people (residential care, education, youth work, etc.)
* A full UK drivers licence
* Understanding of Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and safeguarding practices
* A calm, patient, and resilient nature
* Excellent communication and team-working skills
* Willingness to undertake training and development (including NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare if not already held)
* Ability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
