Job Description:
Ashton Recruitment requires a Complementary Therapy Programme Co-ordinator for our client Relatives for Justice. This position is funded by Victims & Survivors Services. The role is based in Belfast with a permanent contract, offering a salary of £26,692 per annum for 30 hours per week. The coordinator will oversee and deliver complementary therapies across RFJs support centres and online, aimed at victims and survivors of conflict, promoting health and wellbeing.
The responsibilities include:
1. Coordinating Complementary Therapy Services for Relatives for Justice members.
2. Procurement of Complementary Therapy Therapists.
3. Supervising therapists delivering complementary therapies.
4. Ensuring good governance, including data protection.
5. Maintaining safe, professional, and welcoming environments.
6. Reviewing and implementing practice policies for face-to-face and online clinics.
7. Managing MYMOPS and Salesforce data systems.
8. Developing referral systems for additional support.
9. Collaborating with RFJ staff.
10. Providing quarterly reports with qualitative and quantitative data.
11. Implementing monitoring and evaluation procedures.
12. Producing informational leaflets and website content.
13. Maintaining records in compliance with legal standards.
14. Performing other duties as assigned.
The essential criteria include:
o Relevant qualification in complementary therapy with at least three years of experience working with trauma victims.
o At least two years of project management experience in a community setting.
o Understanding of Ireland's conflict legacy and transitional justice models.
o Knowledge of trauma's somatic impacts.
o Commitment to holistic support models.
o Five years of research, report writing, and submissions experience.
o Experience with CRM systems like MYMOP and CORE.
o Knowledge of NGO governance and best practices in therapeutic settings.
o Understanding of conflict-related gender harms and gender-sensitive approaches.
o Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in trauma.
o Excellent presentation, writing, and verbal skills.
o Full driver's license or ability to travel.
