A logistics companywith a strong presence across the UK, are looking for an Assistant ManagementAccountant to join their team on a temporary contract. This is an excellentopportunity to be part of a fast-paced and commercially focused environment.
Your new role
You willplay a key role in supporting the Finance Manager with management accounts. Yourresponsibilities will include:
* Completionof weekly and month-end management accounts
* Reconciliationof accounts to Oracle monthly, including accruals, prepayments, and invoicingrequests
* Maintenanceand reconciliation of balance sheet control accounts
* Postingmonthly charges to the P&L account
* Creationand upkeep of management reporting spreadsheets
* HandlingAP/AR queries and resolving parked/blocked invoices
* Providingad hoc analysis to support financial decision-making
What you'll need to succeed
You willhave:
* Provenexperience in a similar management accounting role
* CIMA /ACCA studier or AAT qualified or equivalent
* StrongExcel skills and experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems
* Excellentattention to detail and analytical skills
* Abilityto work independently and as part of a team
* Aproactive approach to problem-solving
