Senior Surveyor – Commercial Property Management
Blackstar Real Estate Limited is a specialist real estate asset and development management business focused on town centres, shopping centres, retail parks, and mixed‑use schemes across the UK. We partner with private equity firms, family offices, investors, and local authorities to reposition assets and deliver long‑term, sustainable town centre destinations.
As our portfolio continues to grow, we are looking to appoint a Senior Surveyor to join our London team and play a key role in the delivery of our asset & property management strategies.
The role:
Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will take responsibility for managing and enhancing retail and town centre assets across the UK.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Manage a diverse commercial property portfolio, ensuring strong performance and tenant satisfaction.
* Act as the main point of contact for clients and occupiers.
* Oversee rent collection, arrears management, and service charge budgets.
* Deliver clear, insightful client reporting.
* Ensure full H&S and statutory compliance across all assets.
* Handle lease events including renewals, rent reviews, and licences.
* Lead and support junior team members.
* Manage contractors and service delivery standards.
* Conduct regular inspections and maintain asset quality.
* Identify opportunities to add value and improve asset performance.
Skills & Experience:
* Commercial property management experience is essential.
* Strong commercial awareness + communication skills.
* A proactive, solutions‑driven mindset.

Remuneration:
The salary will depend on experience with an expected range of £55,000 – £60,000 basic salary + benefits.
