Portfolio Support Officer - Belfast
A key role for a Portfolio Support Officer in Belfast supporting the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office. The role involves assisting with project and programme delivery, maintaining portfolio documentation, producing reports, and supporting stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to approved standards. About the role:
1. £15.33 per hour
2. Location: Belfast
3. Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
4. 37.5 hours a week

What you'll be doing in this role:
7. Provide support to the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO), assisting in the delivery of digital projects to time and budget in line with approved standards. The Support Officer will work with key stakeholders for each project and programme within the DHCNI Portfolio as part of the Enterprise Portfolio Management Function. They will help to facilitate transformation and change in relevant service areas.
8. Assist in supporting Portfolio Analysts to collate, monitor, and maintain project information, and produce regular progress reports in Power BI and PowerPoint on progress, schedule, risk, issues, costs and benefits, as well as participating in various portfolio-related activities to support the EPMO, which could take the form of meetings, workshops, working with external stakeholders, and general administration.
9. Assist in the maintenance of EPMO structures, processes, templates, and standards to ensure the effective delivery and control of the portfolio.
10. Assist with portfolio reporting, including data analysis and the production of reports for key stakeholder
11. Support the management and recording of key project and programme information and metrics, ensuring data is well managed and reported
12. Update and maintain key programme and project documentation, utilising the Microsoft suite of products and PPM toolset
13. Maintain Portfolio Logs for Requests, Mandates, Risks, Issues, Benefits & Dependencies
What you'll be doing in this role:
14. A university degree AND 1 years recent relevant experience*
15. OR HND or equivalent recognised qualification
16. 2 years recent relevant experience*
17. IT literate specifically in the use of the Microsoft Office suite (including MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook, MS Excel)
18. Relevant experience is defined as providing or supporting Programmes and Projects in a business environment. A business environment in this context includes areas such as Programme/Project Office, service delivery, communications, finance, quality management and risk management
19. Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. This criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport approved by the Organisation which will permit them to carry out the duties of the post
