Estate Services Manager – South West London (SW9)
Temp to Perm – 35 hours Monday to Friday – £22.36 per hour PAYE / £29.19 per hour Umbrella (inc. holiday)
About the Role
Service Care Solutions has an exciting vacancy for an Estate Services Manager available for an immediate start, working with a Housing Association based in the South West London area.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the effective and efficient delivery of estate services, managing a team of 12 cleaners and 1 caretaker.
* Ensure team health & safety, including completed risk assessments, required health and safety training, and compliance with lone working arrangements; actively promote and enforce safety protocols.
* Respond to enquiries from colleagues or residents about the services delivered by the team, promptly addressing issues, providing updates, and ensuring clear communication.
* Carry out estate inspections, checking maintenance, reporting any service issues, communal repairs, compliance hazards or tenancy management problems.
Qualifications
* Experience in an estate/maintenance environment with a strong understanding of health and safety practices, risk assessments, COSHH regulations, lone working, and prioritising safety.
* Proven leadership skills: recruiting, managing, training and motivating a team, fostering a positive work environment and a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
* Strong interpersonal and customer‑centric skills: building positive relationships with residents, addressing inquiries, concerns and complaints, and working collaboratively to meet their needs.
* Valid UK driving licence, with ability to drive company vehicle (a van will be provided).
* Working hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours weekly from 8 am to 4 pm; flexibility to work additional hours as required.
