We are currently partnering with a well-established housing provider in Yeovil, who are recruiting for a Housing Support Worker on a 5-month temporary contract (ongoing). This is a full-time position (37 hours per week) between Monday and Friday, 09:00AM – 17:00PM. Duties will include (but are not limited to): Ideally be able to take on tenancy-management related tasks such as new tenant sign-ups, property inspections and liaison with maintenance teams Provide tailored tenancy sustainment support to individuals with mental health needs to help them maintain stable accommodation Carry out regular risk and needs assessments, developing personalised support plans in collaboration with clients and partner agencies Liaise with mental health services, social workers and external agencies to ensure coordinated and holistic support Support tenants with budgeting, rent management and accessing appropriate benefits to reduce risk of arrears or eviction Experience required: Tenancy management experience within supported living Skills, knowledge and expertise required: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Good organisational and time management skills Reliable and on hand when requireed Working hours: 37 hours No evenings, no weekends Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
