Astute's Renewables Team are looking for an Electricians to join a sub-contractor on a major Power Generation project located in Essex.
Having won the Electrical Package on site, they are looking to hire an Electricians to deliver the installation and commissioning of the electrical equipment on site.
The Electrician position comes with a rate of £27 per hour - CIS
Key Responsibilities:
Install containment systems including trunking, tray, basket, and conduit.
Pull and route electrical cables in line with project specifications and regulations.
Perform glanding and termination of low voltage (LV) cables.
Carry out installations in accordance with wiring regulations and safety standards.
Read and interpret electrical drawings and plans.
Work effectively as part of a team to deliver projects on time and to specification.
Always ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.Requirements:
Valid IPAF certification
ECS card (Gold Card preferred).
Proven experience in containment installation.
Competence in cable pulling, including large multi-core cables.
Experience with LV glanding and termination.
Strong understanding of electrical safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work independently and use initiative.Desirable:
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
Previous experience on large-scale commercial or industrial projects.Location, day rate and timeframe of the Mechanical Package Manager position:
