Role & Location: Project Engineering Manager – Renfrew, Scotland Contract type: Permanent Staff / Umbrella Contract

Altrad are currently expanding in Renfrew due to a number of project successes within our Major Projects business. To support this growth we anticipate the need for an ambitious and motivated Project Engineering Manager to be involved in innovative projects that present creative and technical challenges across our Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Hydrogen and Cleaner Energy solutions disciplines.
Whilst directing and managing all Engineering aspects of a portfolio of projects from inception through completion, you will set up and develop, through effective overall resource and facilities management, an effective and highly proactive group that meets the business requirements; ensuring the allocation of staff in accordance with the needs of the project and required competencies; MEng in an engineering discipline plus full membership of a professional institution (e.g. Familiarity with engineering delivery processes and demonstrate an understanding of technical standards.
Previous experience as a Principal Project Engineer / Engineering Manager, leading and developing multidiscipline engineering teams.
Have the ability to manage the preparation and regular update of the Project Schedule against which all project engineering deliverables are monitored and controlled.
