An exciting opportunity exists for a C#.NET Developer to join a leading global financial services institution, working on a hybrid basis from Liverpool Street, London. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation in .NET technologies and a deep understanding of financial markets and securities products. You'll be involved in the development and enhancement of critical systems that support trading, risk, and regulatory functions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain robust, secure, and high-performance applications using C# and the .NET framework.
* Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.
* Work with relational databases, writing complex SQL queries and optimizing performance.
* Participate in the continuous improvement of systems and processes, driving change where appropriate.
* Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
* Communicate technical concepts effectively across teams with varying technical backgrounds.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Strong background in C# programming and .NET technologies.
* Proven experience with relational databases and SQL.
* Solid knowledge of financial markets and securities products.
* Ability to analyse information, understand complex business requirements, and deliver high-quality technical solutions.
* Demonstrated success in driving continuous improvement and implementing changes to increase efficiency or effectiveness.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical matters clearly.
* Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with a deep understanding of how to convert business needs into functional and operational software.
* A proactive mindset and a strong work ethic, with a commitment to meeting deadlines and objectives.
