Teaching Personnel is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join one of our forward-thinking partner secondary schools in the Worksop area. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed practitioner to inspire curiosity, promote scientific thinking, and contribute to a strong and supportive Science faculty.
About the Role
As a Science Teacher, you will:
* Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 expertise welcomed).
* Use assessment and data tracking to monitor progress and plan intervention where needed.
* Create a positive, inclusive learning environment where students are motivated to succeed.
* Contribute to departmental planning, curriculum development, and practical science activities.
* Maintain high expectations for behaviour, engagement, and outcomes.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and support whole-school initiatives.
About You
We are looking for a Science Teacher who:
* Holds QTS or QTLS (ECTs and experienced teachers encouraged to apply).
* Has strong subject knowledge in at least one science specialism.
* Delivers lessons that are engaging, practical, and accessible for learners of all abilities.
* Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* Is passionate about STEM education and committed to student success.
* Prioritises safeguarding and upholds the welfare of all pupils.
