We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Lecturer in Geography to join our Sixth Form and High School team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire learners and contribute to the continued development of a thriving Geography curriculum.
The Role
* Planning, preparing and delivering the Scheme of Learning and Reflection (SOLAR) or, for Higher Education provision, relevant Module Guides
* Producing detailed lesson plans that meet curriculum, awarding body and learner needs
* Organising and managing all elements of the programmes you deliver, ensuring positive student outcomes across units, modules and courses
* Acting as a Personal Tutor, supporting learners’ academic progress, attendance and wellbeing
* Assessing student work and providing timely, constructive feedback
* Contributing to quality assurance, review and continuous improvement processes
* Playing an active role in promoting and developing the Geography curriculum as part of the wider Sixth Form and High School team

You will be a motivated and learner-focused professional with strong subject knowledge in Geography. You will be confident teaching across a range of levels, organised in your approach, and committed to inspiring learners to achieve their full potential.
