Communications Manager (Museums) | 8100 | Fixed-term contract/secondment until 31 March 2027 | 37 hours/week | £36,124 - £37,938 per annum | Grade I | Norwich
Norfolk Museums Service seeks a Communications Manager to oversee media engagement, public relations, and stakeholder advocacy across ten museums.
This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a major capital project at Norwich Castle and the opening of the Gallery of Medieval Life, in partnership with the British Museum, marking a significant cultural milestone in 2025.
The Communications Manager will manage media relations, maximize PR opportunities, and coordinate high-profile opening events. Candidates should have proven experience in effective communications, event planning, and a strong understanding of local, regional, and national media, including arts and heritage press.
