Cornwall VSF is looking to recruit an experienced relationship and programme manager to work alongside voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector partners to develop a countywide approach to health creation, as part of a test and learn one year pilot initially. We are seeking a self-motivated individual with a combination of skills in stakeholder engagement and health systems design to lead development of a whole system approach to improving health and wellbeing across the county. Working with communities, the VCSE, NHS, Councils, Acute, Community and Primary Care the aim is to develop a holistic programme to care to improve metabolic health and wellbeing focussed on the building blocks of good health.
This role initially involves scoping, planning and early phase delivery requiring an organised programme management approach. The manager will lead on all aspects of relationship building and engagement with partners, communities, commissioners, and stakeholders, strengthening the visibility and voice of the VCSE sector, specifically focussed on wellbeing and health in relation to Health Creation.
Key responsibilities include developing and overseeing programme and contract management, developing our approach to business support for VCSEs, managing stakeholder relationships, leading on direct delivery of support and resources, contributing to programme evaluation and reporting, and promoting lived experience and person-centred approaches throughout. The role will involve facilitating learning and collaboration through the Human Learning Systems (HLS) model and promoting systems change as a means of improving community led outcomes.
Reporting to the Director Team and working collaboratively with the engagement team, programmes teams and comms, the postholder will play a crucial role in the delivery of programmes and engagement, and overall visibility for Cornwall VSF in these areas of work.
Due to the nature of the role, the position may be offered as a one-year contract initially (with a view to extend) or could be applied for as a secondment opportunity. If applying as a secondment, please seek approval from your manager in advance of submitting.
