Responsibilities
* Manage allocated sections of work from mobilisation through to final handover.
* Develop and maintain project programmes, resource plans and construction sequences.
* Coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors to achieve project milestones.
* Ensure works are delivered in accordance with specifications, programme requirements and contractual obligations.
* Manage subcontractor performance, productivity, quality and safety.
* Monitor project costs and support commercial reporting, forecasting and budget control.
* Raise and manage Early Warnings and Compensation Events under NEC contracts.
* Review and implement RAMS, quality plans and inspection procedures.
* Maintain effective communication with clients, consultants and key stakeholders.
* Produce regular progress reports and provide updates on risks, opportunities and project performance.
* Support project close‑out activities including as‑built records and handover documentation.
* Drive continuous improvement, efficiency and best practice across the project.
Qualifications
* Excellent opportunity to join Sizewell C and be involved in marine piling, heavy civils, structural steelwork and precast concrete construction. Proven experience as a Project Manager within civil engineering, infrastructure or marine construction.
* Previous experience delivering marine works is essential.
* Strong understanding of NEC contracts, ideally NEC4 Option C.
* Experience managing subcontractors and multi‑disciplinary site teams.
* Strong planning and programme management capabilities.
* Commercial awareness with experience in cost control, forecasting and reporting.
* Good understanding of construction health, safety and environmental requirements.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Civil Engineering qualification or equivalent experience preferred.
* SMSTS and CSCS Card desirable.
