Who we’re looking for
We’re seeking a dedicated individual to provide tailored support to our pupils. You will be committed to making a positive difference in young people’s lives and supporting their learning development. Your intervention will help create an outstanding learning environment, providing the support students need to succeed.
The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and technical skills. You should be able to support learning and teaching effectively and build positive relationships across our school and the Star community.
You will have:
* A Learning Support Assistant Level 2 or NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent.
* Experience working with children in a school setting.
* Experience contributing to the development, monitoring, and review of IEPs.
* The ability to maintain positive relationships with students and staff.
* The ability to work effectively within a team.

Tauheedul Islam Boys’ High School is a Muslim faith-based secondary school for boys aged 11 to 18, welcoming pupils of all faiths and none. Established in Blackburn in 2012 as Star Academies’ first free school, it moved to a new state-of-the-art site in 2019.
