About the Role
Priory is looking to recruit a Senior Occupational Therapist to join the team. This is a full time 37.5 hours role working across two of our services, Lombard House and Richmond House in Norfolk.
Responsibilities
* Lead and oversee the assessment, planning, and delivery of complex occupational therapy interventions for diverse client populations.
* Mentor and supervise junior occupational therapists and assistants, providing guidance and professional development support.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address clients’ functional goals.
* Conduct advanced evaluations and recommend adaptive equipment or modifications to improve clients’ independence and quality of life.
* Contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
* A relevant degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with the appropriate professional regulatory body are essential.
* Extensive experience as a registered occupational therapist, typically with a minimum of 5–7 years in clinical practice, including experience in leadership or supervisory roles.
Required Skills
* Strong clinical expertise across various client groups.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills.
* The ability to manage complex cases independently.
Preferred Skills
* Experience in service development, quality assurance, and mentoring staff is highly valued.
